Thank You Santa Rosa Quilt Guild!

Each year the Santa Rosa Quilt Guild makes and donates quilts to organizations serving people in need of comfort and support.

Our donation quilts start with fabric from a member's private stash or from fabric that has been generously donated to the guild by members or others. Kits of pre-cut squares and border fabric for making baby quilt tops are available at Guild meetings.

Three times each year the guild holds "Quiltathons" to prepare the quilts to be donated. Guild members are encouraged to participate in the Quiltathons by helping with the many tasks involved including pinning, sewing, machine quilting and sewing labels.  Quiltathons are lots of fun!

In addition to the quiltathons many members make quilt tops and finished quilts at home to donate to the Community Quilts program. Finished quilts and tops can be brought to any meeting.

The organizations that receive our donations are very grateful and tell us how much the recipients appreciate and benefit from the quilts we give them. Thank you to everyone for your efforts in making this possible!

We encourage your involvement in participating in our Community Quilts program. For more information please contact the Chair person.
