Nothing New Under the Sun

In October I participated in an Earthwatch archeological project excavating a 2000 year old Roman villa on the Italian coast one hour south of Pisa. Work done by the universities in the 80’s had uncovered this mosaic floor. It was amusing to see “flying geese” and other quilt patterns. Cora Stewart
